- A major search operation is underway for three-year-old Noah Woods, who went missing on Tuesday afternoon after becoming separated from a relative at a playground in Merriam Close, Brantham, near Manningtree.
- Suffolk Police have expressed extreme concern for Noah's welfare, noting that he is non-verbal, has partial hearing loss, is undergoing an assessment for autism, and will not respond to his name.
- The extensive search effort includes specially trained police officers , dog units, helicopters from the National Police Air Service and HM Coastguard, search and rescue volunteers, and more than 100 members of the public.
- Superintendent Pete Partridge thanked the local community for their overwhelming support but urged volunteers to coordinate search efforts directly with the police and refrain from undertaking risky independent searches overnight.
- Noah's father, Rhys Woods, expressed deep gratitude to everyone helping in the search and issued an emotional plea on Facebook asking volunteers to widen their search area and not give up on finding his son.
