An urgent search has been launched for a woman who vanished from Edinburgh three days ago. Ania Karus was last seen in the Pilton area of the capital at around noon on Friday, May 5.
The 36-year-old is known to frequent the city centre and officers believe she may have taken a train from Waverley Train Station. The force have urged anyone anyone with any information, or who may have seen Ania, to come forward as concerns grow for her welfare.
Ania is described as being around 5ft 2in tall, of a stocky build with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a green body warmer, a yellow hooded top, black leggings and a multi-coloured rucksack.
