An urgent recall notice has been issued by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) this week for a popular Dunnes Stores product amid an allergy warning.
Shoppers who may have bought Baxter & Greene's Chicken Korma sold at Dunnes recently should check their labels as cashew nuts were undeclared by the manufacturers, which may negatively affect anyone with allergies to nuts. The notice from the FSAI reads: "The implicated batches of Baxter & Greene Chicken Korma contain cashew nuts that are not mentioned on the label.
"This may make the batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of cashew nuts. Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in Dunnes Stores supplied with the implicated batches."
