Urgent police search underway for two missing boys who could be 185 miles from home

An urgent police search has been launched for two missing teenage boys who could be as far as 185 miles from home.

Solomon Agyemang, 13 and 15-year-old Matthew Batty are both currently missing from the Wakefield area in West Yorkshire - but are known to travel to the Manchester and London areas.

Solomon was last seen wearing a black coat with a fur hood and grey jogging bottoms.

It is unknown what Matthew was wearing at the time of his disappearance, but it is thought the pair are travelling together.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Solomon Agyemang, 13, and Matthew Batty, 15, are both currently missing from Wakefield.

"Solomon was last seen wearing grey jogging bottoms, black and white Nike Jordan trainers and a black Zanetti coat with a fur hood.

"It is unknown what Matthew is wearing.

"They are believed to be together and are known to travel to Manchester and London areas. Any information or sightings, please ring 101 quoting 1816."
