A 14-year-old boy who went missing over Easter has been found safe and sound..
After a trip to the town centre, the teen was due to return home to Selby, North Yorkshire.
But he never returned home and hadn't been in contact with his family since last being seen Saturday night around 8.35pm.
North Yorkshire Police issued an urgent appeal to help find him and following that appeal he was found.
After releasing an initial statement appealing for help finding him, police later said: "Some welcome news folks, the missing 14-year-old boy from Selby has been found safe and well .
"Many thanks for supporting the appeal. We’re very grateful for your help.
"The appeal has now been cancelled and we ask that the details and photo of the boy are removed from website and social media as soon as possible."
