Urgent police appeal to find missing man last seen in Manchester city centre

Police have issued an urgent public appeal for help to find a missing man. Callum McConnell, 34, was last seen on Market Street in Manchester city centre on Tuesday morning.

Anyone who sees him is being urged to call 999. Greater Manchester Police said they were growing increasingly concerned for Callum's welfare and want to make sure he is safe and well.

He's said to have a distinctive walk, holding his hands out to one side. In a Facebook post, Greater Manchester Police said: "We're hoping you can help us find Callum, who was last seen on Tuesday morning on Market Street in Manchester city centre.

"He's described as having a large build, and is believed to have been wearing a red T-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and black Adidas trainers. We understand that Callum tends to walk with his hands out to the side and hope anyone who sees him can call us on 999.
