Peanuts, soya and sesame may be present in batches of a product of the popular health food brand True Natural Goodness, the Food Safety Authority has warned.
The Authority has detected the nuts in batches of True Natural Goodness Garlic Sticks with pack size 250g and best before dates: March 10 2024 to April 16 2024 inclusive. This may make the implicated batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanuts, soya and/ or sesame.
The FSAI said: "The implicated product may also have been sold in shops labelled with the shop's own brand names; notices will be displayed at point-of-sale."

The garlic sticks, which are supposed to be nut-free, were manufactured in a factory which handles peanuts, soya and sesame seeds, according to the label of the product.
Severe allergic reactions to nuts may include anaphylaxis which can be life-threatening, according to the health website Patient UK.
