Teenager reported missing from Almondsbury found

UPDATE - Avon and Somerset Police said Jax has been found. The force has thanked everyone who helped with search efforts.

An emergency 999 appeal has been launched in the search for missing teenager. Jax, 17, who was last seen in the Almondsbury area of Bristol on Friday (May 19), the appeal states.

Avon and Somerset Police has asked anyone who knows where Jax is to call 999. A message from the force said Jax was wearing a red jacket, red jogging bottoms, and grey shoes.

He was carrying a black backpack, police added. Wiltshire Police has also shared the appeal as he has links to Swindon.

Avon and Somerset Police said: "Jax is described as white, slim, with long brown hair. He’s approximately 6ft 3ins tall.

"He has links to the Swindon area."

Wiltshire Police added on Twitter: "Jax could have travelled to the Swindon area. If you have any information call 101 or 999 immediately."

Avon and Somerset Police urge anyone who knows where Jax is to call 666 with reference number 5223118945. Anyone with any other information is asked to call 101.
