The Miami Dolphins may have beaten the Dallas Cowboys 22-20 on Christmas Eve, but with their eyes toward the future, they have a number of injuries that could be concerning.
Jerome Baker, Isaiah Wynn, Jaelan Phillips and Connor Williams are on injured reserve with the last two definitely not returning.
They’ve also been without their right guard and right tackle in recent weeks. Then, on Sunday, two more offensive stars went down in Jaylen Waddle and Raheem Mostert.
Mike McDaniel provided some injury updates on Monday to the media. Here’s what he had to say:
RT Austin Jackson
Mike McDaniel said it would have been “unfair” to have RT Austin Jackson (oblique) play the entire game on Sunday, which is why he was active but not starting.
McDaniel is optimistic Jackson can start vs. the Ravens.

WR Jaylen Waddle
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel says WR Jaylen Waddle’s shin injury from yesterday’s game is “looking more like a high ankle” today.
Miami will get further tests done to determine the severity

RB Raheem Mostert
Mostert wanted to return to game in second half yesterday (and he did some), but McDaniel said "we could tell it was pretty painful at times"… That's why second half playing time was limited. "Thought that gave us the best chance in that particular situation." https://t.co/7up1Md7GJk
