The Seahawks are reportedly re-signing defensive end Frank Clark, reuniting with their second-round pick from the 2015 NFL draft. Since Clark was traded to the Chiefs back in 2019 he’s enjoyed a lot of success, including winning two Super Bowls and rising to third all-time in playoff sacks. Now Clark will try to keep Seattle’s up-and-coming edge rotation from dropping off after a season-ending injury to starter Uchenna Nwosu.
Here’s what we believe the team’s depth chart now looks like with Nwosu likely about to go on injured reserve and Clark joining the 53-man roster.
Uchenna Nwosu- Boye Mafe
- Darrell Taylor
- Frank Clark
- Derick Hall
- Levi Bell (practice squad)
While adding Clark to the mix should keep things running relatively smooth, this group could still use another weapon. Landing one before the trade deadline next week should still be a priority.
