There are quite a lot of upcoming Ubisoft games slated to be coming our way in the future, and we've rounded them all up in one place here so you can easily see what's in the pipeline.
While July has seen the release of a new game in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced (which you can learn more about in our Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced review), we're still set to see a fresh Rayman game this year, which was announced during the PlayStation State of Play June 2026 showcase. Beyond that, there's some other upcoming Assassin's Creed game still yet to come following the Black Flag remake (although we're yet to get release dates), as well some games slated to be in the works that promise to bring back some major series like Splinter Cell.
Ubisoft has seen some major changes in recent times, with Tencent investing in Vantage Studios, a Ubisoft subsidiary that is spearheading development on new Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six games (we're still waiting to see if a Far Cry shape annoucement will drop in the future). It also saw a major restructure, with confirmation that six games have sadly been canceled including at least four unannounced projects and the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake. While we're still awaiting further updates on some of these projects, you can read on below to see all of the upcoming Ubisoft games we know about so far.
All the upcoming Ubisoft games we know about
Upcoming Ubisoft games: 2026
Rayman Legends Retold
Platforms: PS5, PC, Switch 2, Xbox Series X
Release date: October 1, 2026
A blast from the past, but better than you remember. The latest upcoming Ubisoft game on our roster is Rayman Legends Retold, a 3D-2D action platformer that is coming our way in October 2026. It was unveiled at a State of Play showcase for the very first time, giving us our first glimpse at Rayman, Globox, and all their friends after their thoroughly modern makeover. It might not be anything brand new to write home about, but our Games Editor was impressed all the same in his Rayman Legends Retold preview, so this is one new Ubisoft title to add to your wishlists this summer.
Upcoming Ubisoft games: TBC
Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe
Platforms: TBC
Release date: TBC
Something wicked this way comes? Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe is perhaps the most mysterious upcoming Ubisoft game of them all, purely for the fact that its short teaser trailer gives up next to nothing. All we can see from it is a handmade talisman, resembling the Assassin's insignia, dangling against the backdrop of a dark forest.
Ubisoft has only gone so far as to describe Hexe as "a very different Assassin's Creed game," with speculating fans pointing to hints that Hexe might be set during the German witch trials. This seems entirely plausible, especially given the Pagan connotations of the talisman, so we can't help but get excited for a darker and somewhat spookier AC experience.
Assassin's Creed Jade
Platforms: iOS, Android
Release Date: TBC
A beloved franchise is getting the mobile treatment in Assassin's Creed Jade. It's set in ancient China, and save for the initial announcement trailer and confirmation of its title being simply Assassin's Creed Jade (having been previously referred to as codename Jade), details on this one are still a little sparse - aside from a brief hands-on back in 2023.
We do know that Jade will be a mobile-exclusive, open world game. With free reign of iconic landmark locations, Assassin's Creed executive director Marc-Alexis Côté says we will be able to "parkour atop the Great Wall of China, sneak through bustling cities, engage in intense combat, and discover the secrets, the vastness, of ancient China."
Beyond Good and Evil 2
Platforms: TBC
Release date: TBC
First hinted at in 2008, Beyond Good and Evil 2 has become synonymous with developmental hell. It's been several years since Ubisoft officially announced it during E3 2017, and with just a few promo shots and press releases to show for it since then, it's anyone's guess whether we can expect news anytime soon. What we do know is that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is intended as a prequel to the 2003 original, this time featuring more open-world RPG gameplay, branching narratives, and the choice between playing solo or multiplayer modes.
Morbid Metal
Platforms: PC
Release date: TBC
Developed by SCREEN JUICE, Ubisoft is set to publish the upcoming hack 'n' slash rogue-lite Morbid Metal at some point in the future. Currently, we don't have a release window yet for this one, but we do know that it will first be released in Early Access and that players can download a demo and sign up for the playtest right now. With that in mind, we should be hearing news on a release soon. The game is set in a dystopian future where you will be switching characters on the fly as you work to survive runs and upgrade your party. The mechanics sound very intriguing. Hopefully, we will get more news soon!
Project U
Platforms: TBC
Release date: TBC
For a game that's already had one closed beta test, there's precious little online about Project U. According to the Ubisoft website, Project U is a "new concept of session-based co-op shooter, where many players unite to prevail against an overwhelming threat." This isn't the first time the publisher has hazarded a go at a co-op looter-shooter, though, with the cancellation of Project Q back in 2023, which saw its crew move over to work on Assassin's Creed Mirage instead.
Splinter Cell remake
Platforms: TBC
Release date: TBC
One upcoming Ubisoft game we would love to get a closer look at is the Splinter Cell remake, which went into development in 2021. With Ubisoft Toronto at the helm, the studio is keen to "make sure the spirit of the early games remains intact" – that means we'll hopefully see the stealth-heavy action gameplay we remember from the 2002 original. It's apparently possible to get through the whole game without a single kill, too, but we'll believe it when we see some gameplay.
Tom Clancy's The Division 3
Platforms: TBC
Release date: TBC
This one is probably in its most embryonic stages of pre-production planning, but Ubisoft has casually let slip that Tom Clancy's The Division 3 is in the works. We don't know much else about it just yet, save that it'll be developed by Massive Entertainment and spearheaded by Julian Gerighty as executive producer of the whole Tom Clancy brand (via Twitter).
Since he finished directing Star Wars Outlaws in 2024, though, we don't expect to see the third Division game (or hear much more about it) for a while. To be honest, the earliest time we can expect an update is likely in mid-2026. In the meantime, if you are curious about Gerighty's latest big Ubisoft game, you can read our Star Wars Outlaws review.
March of the Giants
Release date: TBC
Ubisoft acquired the upcoming free-to-play game, March of Giants, from Amazon Game Studios on December 15, 2025. That means the future strategy game is officially in the line-up of new Ubisoft games to keep track of. This is a MOBA, so if you aren't a fan of tactical multiplayers turn away now.
However, if you like the genre, it does seem pretty cool with it's visuals being inspired by early 1900s technology. The game's team already had two former Ubisoft team members on it, so hopefully the transition won't cause any massive hiccups. We'll keep you posted as more news heads our way.
