NEW DELHI: English fast bowler Lauren Bell has opted out of the upcoming Women's Premier League (WPL) season, prompting UP Warriorz to announce Sri Lanka's Chamari Athapaththu as her replacement.

Athapaththu, a formidable force in the cricketing world known for her powerful hitting, will be joining the team for her base price of Rs 30 lakh, according to a statement from the WPL.
