UP universities lag in NAAC rankings due to shortcomings, says governor Anandiben Patel

LUCKNOW: Governor Anandiben Patel said that the state universities are lagging in the National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC) ranking due to several shortcomings.

Insisting that every university should get the NAAC evaluation done as it ensures that quality education is imparted at higher education level, Patel said there is a lack of dedication and coordination in the universities and it is because of this that the functioning of the universities was not improving.
