Sonbhadra: A 55-year-old man was stabbed to death with an arrow by a watcher of the Forest Department allegedly over a dispute regarding grazing cattle on forest area, a police officer said here on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Tribhuvan Nath Tripathi on Friday said the watcher of the forest department Sukhan Baiga had an altercation with Banwari Pal over grazing cattle near Mahuriya jungle.

"The dispute escalated during which Sukahn stabbed Banwari with the arrow and killed him," he said.
He said that the forest department watcher was also seriously injured in the fight between the two and has been admitted to Trauma Center in Varanasi after primary treatment.

"The police have registered a case on the complaint of Jai Prakash Pal, son of the deceased Banwari Pal, and have started investigating the incident," he said. (with Agency inputs)
