UP CEO probes bizarre voter list names, says action will be taken over forged slips

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) on Monday acknowledged the bizarre-looking names in the state voter list, stating that the Election Commission is looking into the reasons for such mistakes.

In a statement posted on X, the UP CEO said that action will be taken against the person responsible for forgery of voter slips.
