UP assembly elections: Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik campaigns for NCP nominee

LUCKNOW: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which is contesting UP assembly elections in alliance with Samajwadi Party (SP), launched its election campaign in the state with Maharashtra minister, Nawab Malik, already visiting Bulandshahr twice, and coming again this week.

Another senior NCP leader Praful Patel is expected to visit Bulandshahr on February 2. NCP national president Sharad Pawar is also the party’s star campaigner for UP elections but his schedule for campaigning in the state is yet to be worked out.

NCP has 30 star campaigners for UP elections, including Malik, Patel, MP Supriya Sule and party’s office-bearers in UP. NCP national general secretary and UP incharge, KK Sharma will contest from Anupshahr assembly constituency in Bulandshahr.
