A last–minute winner is always a moment of unbridled joy but some strikes in the dying seconds can mean even more.
Reiss Nelson' rocket had Arsenal fans in dreamland as he sealed a 3-2 comeback win over Bournemouth to keep the Gunners' five-point lead at the top of the Premier League – keeping Manchester City at bay for now. Amid the madness it was hard to keep up but footage has emerged of Mikel Arteta racing down the beeline before greeting Kieran Tierney as the pair had a major hug as Nelson celebrated beside them.
But was it really the Celtic hero the Spaniard was embracing? No, we don't mean because of the swirling transfer rumours, but the Scotland international appeared wrapped up in a big coat and snood – something he previously revealed wasn't for him. Tierney is known for his love of the cold with goals in the snow and training in minus temperatures with just shorts and t-shirt.
But it appears it was Tierney with the extra layers on and Arsenal fans were loving it amid significant interest from Newcastle United. Arteta batted away a question surrounding the £25m man's future and punters treasured the moment between boss and star unable to get regular game time.
And there's a high chance Tierney will come into contention for Thursday's Europa League clash with Sporting having been a regular during the group stage.
