A sweet dog with an unfortunate start to life is ready for his luck to change this year. Toby the seven-year-old terrier cross was found as a stray and is now at Dogs Trust Basildon looking to settle into a quiet, adult-only home.
Toby's top priorities in life are a play in the garden and the opportunity to learn new tricks with daily treats. If you can provide those things, then he could be the boy for you. Manager Kelly McMaster told the Mirror: "Toby is a really clever boy who hasn't had the easiest of times, so we want to find him his ideal home so that he can live his best life.
