The latest Nottingham Forest headlines on Wednesday, March 29.
Unlikely hero
Catching a break with injury woes is proving almost as tough for Nottingham Forest as turning around their miserable away form.
The two might well be linked, given the number of key players the Reds have found themselves without this season. But just when there were hopes the international break could help with an easing of the situation (affording valuable recovery time for some), fresh fears have arisen over the fitness of other players ahead of Saturday’s clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Having previously been hit hard in central defence, Forest now have concerns at the opposite end of the pitch. Brennan Johnson, Andre Ayew and Chris Wood all withdrew from being on duty with their countries, while there is still uncertainty over whether Taiwo Awoniyi will be in contention for this weekend as he makes his way back from a groin strain.

Travel chaos
Nottingham Forest fans are set for travel disruption when they travel for the Reds clash against Aston Villa on Saturday, April 8.
Steve Cooper's side visit the Villains on the Easter weekend as they continue their battle for survival. Forest are currently just two points above the bottom three.
They return to action on Saturday in a vital clash against fellow relegation strugglers Wolves at the City Ground. They then travel for another six-pointer away at Leeds three days later.
Hughton sums up
Chris Hughton has praised the “marvellous” job Steve Cooper has done at Nottingham Forest, as he opened up about his own difficult reign at the City Ground.
Cooper replaced Hughton as the Reds manager last season, with Forest bottom of the Championship. But he inspired a remarkable turnaround, leading the club to promotion back to the Premier League via the play-offs.
And he is leading their survival bid in the top-flight this season, with the Reds two places above the relegation zone with 11 matches left to play. Speaking to FourFourTwo, Hughton said: “It was a really challenging spell.
