The case was voluntarily dismissed with prejudice on Sept. 24 in federal court in Tennessee, according to court records.
The terms are confidential. The dismissal filing states that each side will bear its own attorneys' fees and costs, as Fierce Healthcare reported. Because the case settled, no court ruled on whether the allegations were true, and TeamHealth has denied wrongdoing.
