BHUBANESWAR: Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday visited the proposed Paika Rebellion Memorial site at Barunei in Odisha's Khurda district and discussed with local government officials regarding progress of the project work. He expressed displeasure over the delay in construction of this project.
The project was conceived in 2017. All agreements have been done during the last six years for construction of the memorial. The state government has also provided land for the project. Fund has been released to shift electric poles and trees from the land.
