ATLANTA — SEC Media Days 2022 closed with a bang Thursday. How could anything that ends with Jimbo Fisher talking not?
Texas A&M’s fifth-year coach wrapped up the four-day event at the College Football Hall of Fame by addressing, among other things, his public feud with Alabama’s Nick Saban and the unpredictability of the NIL era.
“Listen, we’re great,” Fisher said when asked if either he or Saban had offered apologies after trading public barbs in May. “We’re just two competitive guys that go at it. We all learn from the things we do in our business. It was just two competitive guys (debating) a topic that is very everywhere. There’s no rules in this thing, and each state has different laws.”
