A man died after police were called to a medical incident in Nottingham city centre. At least five police cars, a van and ambulances were called to Byard Lane on Monday, August 1.
It comes after a man collapsed in the street, just outside The Cross Keys pub. The incident happened shortly before 1pm.
There was a huge police presence responding to the incident. The man was taken to hospital in an ambulance after receiving treatment on the scene.

The ambulance left the scene in the city centre shortly after 1.30pm. A number of police cars remained and while there was no disruption to traffic, eyewitnesses voiced concern.
The man sadly died later, Nottinghamshire Police has now confirmed. His death is being treated as "unexplained".
Detective Inspector Chris Berryman, of Nottinghamshire Police: “Officers provided assistance after being called to reports of a medical incident in Byard Lane, Nottingham, shortly before 1pm yesterday (Monday 1 August 2022).
“A man was taken to hospital but sadly later died. His death is being treated as unexplained at this time but is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner."
