Alex de Minaur has said he doesn't pay day-to-day attention to his world ranking, which is a good attitude to have on the relentless grind of the tennis circuit.
The Australian No.1 rose to a career-high seventh in the world after reaching the quarter-final at Roland Garros then winning in s'Hertogenbosch on Sunday.
But his first exit round at Queen's Club, where he was defending 300 points after reaching last year's final, means he will slip back as points expire after a year.
