
UNESCO is investigating the impacts of high-rise buildings on the Tower of London sparking fears that the iconic attraction could lose its world heritage status.
Historic England has warned of “a very, serious inherent conflict” between the City of London’s plan to build 1.2 million square metres of office floorspace and the square mile’s historic sites.
