Unemployment rate in Ireland at 20-year record low

The state’s unemployment rate fell to 4.4% last month, marking the lowest rate on record in 20 years.

The jobless rate is down from a revised rate of 4.5% in October and down from 5.2% in November 2021.

Despite the bleak economic forecast, more people are employed in Ireland than ever.
