MONTREAL — Polarizing Russian heavyweight, Arslanbek Makhmudov understood, to realize his dream of soon becoming a heavyweight champion that he must fight in the United States. 

Makhmudov, whose record stands at 16-0 with 15 knockouts will fight in the America [Toledo, Ohio] for the first time on July 1st in a semifinal’s bout for Top Rank Promotions Heavyweight Gala against, Raphael Akpejiori, who is 15-0 with 14 knockouts.
