Una Healy and Lynsey Bennett are among the thousands of unlucky travellers left stranded in Paris due to flight strikes and cancellations.
Singer Una and her kids Aoife Belle, 10, and Tadhg, seven, and Cervical Check campaigner Lynsey and her kids Zoe, 13, and Hailee, eight, enjoyed a holiday together in France this week, where they spent their days lapping up the ‘magic’ of Disneyland.
But like many, they have been struck by travel issues as they tried to make their way home, forced to stay an extra night after their flight was cancelled on Thursday.

Sharing a snap from the airport, Una wrote: “Another unexpected night in Paris (airport) flight got cancelled.”
Lynsey also shared a photo of their children playing card games on the floor and told how they had another disaster when she realised her daughter Hailee had left her phone behind in the hotel.
She joked: “When flight gets cancelled but Hailee kept everyone entertained till I realised she said nothing and left her phone in other hotel and never said.
“So cross mammy came out but thank you universe for sorting it out. We friends again.”
The Longford native also shared a screenshot of their next flight to Dublin on Friday morning, which had also been delayed and asked for help, writing: “Anyone work in Aer Lingus that could give update please?”
But the friends remained in good spirits amid the travel drama, with Una posting a selfie of them still in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, saying: “32 hours later, still in Paris,” with laughing emojis.
About 10% of all flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport were cancelled due to strikes by ground personnel on Thursday and there is similar disruption expected today, a spokesman for airport operator ADP said.
Several European airlines and airports have experienced strikes in recent weeks and more travel disruptions are expected next month as airline workers use strong travel demand and staff shortages to get better working conditions.
