The United Nations Security Council passed a big plan for Gaza. Thirteen countries voted yes, and nobody voted no. Russia and China did not vote yes, but they also did not block the plan. The plan backs President Donald Trump’s ideas for bringing peace to Gaza and lets countries send troops there to help.
According to Unilad, the plan creates a group called the Board of Peace that will run Gaza for now. Trump will be the leader of this group. There will also be soldiers from different countries who will go to Gaza to keep things safe. All of this will continue until the end of 2027.
