Updated: We last updated our Anime Crusaders tier list on November 20, 2025. Added the new units from the Chainsaw Man update: Maki, Rose, Denshi, Powaa, Ake, and Seraph. Psyki is the new Leaderboard unit (top 50) so we will add him as well after the LB resets.
If you plan on tackling the most challenging stages in Anime Crusaders, you'll need to bring some powerful units along. Now, choosing which ones to bring can be difficult, as there are more than 15 Mythic and Secret units already in the game on release. With that in mind, we prepared the following Anime Crusaders tier list to help you summon and use only the best units out there.
Anime Crusaders Tier List Summary
- The best DPS units overall are Akuzo vs Renkuro, Sun Woo (System), King, Dracula, Kurimi, Zero, Brulo (Rage), and Getu (Master of Curses).
- The must-have support units are AI (Idol), Loid, Useless Goddess, Mr. Champion, and Speedcart.
- Best units for dealing with flying enemies are Akuzo vs Renkuro, King, and Brulo (Rage).
- The best units on the standard banner are Akuzo (Evolves into Akuzo vs Renkuro), Boo, Getu, Enmo, Goko (Super III), Getu, Chonin, Toju, and AI.
- The best early-game DPS units are Rose, Golden Freezo, and Ureo.

Tiers Explained
S-tier: Must-have units that are useful in basically every game mode (Story, Infinite, Raids, Challenges, Double Dungeons, etc.)
A-tier: Very good units overall, but not as strong or universally useful as the S-tier ones.
B-tier: Situational units that have some potential. For example, Koichy is great for slowing down Fast enemies.
C-tier: Units that are relevant only in the early Story stages.
In the tier list above, we ranked every evolved Mythic and Secret unit in Anime Crusaders, as well as mid and end-game viable Legendary and Epic units, based on their damage, SPA, range, passives, and utility they provide (buffs, slows, stuns, etc.). Epic and rare units are only useful early on. So, we decided not to include them in the tier list, except for a few that are good as supports.
