Ulster star Andy Warwick has been cited for his controversial tackle on Manu Tuilagi that saw the Sale centre removed from the field of play.

The incident occurred in the first half of Sale's 39-0 demolition of Ulster. Tuilagi gathered a kick and drove at the Ulster defence.

As Warwick made the tackle on the 46 cap England International, he clashed heads with Tuilagi. The centre was left bloodied by the tackle and was immediately substituted.
