Ulster winger Jacob Stockdale will record a bizarre first this weekend when he steps out against the Bulls.
The Ireland international has yet to face South African opposition in the United Rugby Championship, with injuries and unavailability having prevented him from facing clubs from breaking his duck in the past.
Stockdale is back from Ireland's Grand Slam success as Ulster prepare for the visit of the Bulls on Saturday evening. He is also hoping to build on scoring his first competitive try in two years in the 42-20 win over Cardiff last time out.

“I still haven’t played a South African team in the competition,” said the 26-year-old.
“I’ve missed all the games so far, between injury and not being available. I am hoping to try and finally tick that box against the Bulls.
“Having the South African sides on board has added a new bit of spice to the league. I think they bring a really good variety, something a bit different and a bit fresh. Having a new brand of rugby within the competition is only a good thing.”
Stockdale has predicted a physical test against the Bulls, who currently sit sixth in the URC standings.
Ulster are third but hoping to close in on a top-two finish to secure home advantage potentially through to the semi-final stages of the competition.
The winger said: “I would imagine it will be very much like playing an international team. They are going to be very physical and they have very dangerous back three players and centres.
“With all four South African teams, if you give them a bit of space and a bit of time on the ball, they are going to punish you.
“We are getting into the business end of the season now and there are some big games ahead, starting with this weekend. We’re chasing the DHL Stormers now and trying to get that home semi-final, so every point is massive.”
