It's quite impossible to think of fashion nowadays without thinking about brand collaborations. This week alone brought a slew of collaborative capsules — Madewell x Lisa Says Gah, COS x Tabata Shibori and Away x La Ligne with Natasha Lyonne as the ultimate muse. The latest duo to join forces is Ulla Johnson and Sisley Paris.
The New York-based label and the French beauty brand have consistently worked together to create innovative beauty looks for Johnson's runway shows, making this collaboration the perfect move. "Our love of plants and quality unite us," explains Sisley Paris Global Vice President Christine d'Ornano. "We are also both in the business of empowering those who engage in our world, be that in beauty or fashion," Johnson adds.
In honor of their relationship, the designer created a limited-edition bag crafted in caramel leather. Sisley Paris took on the role of filling the bag with both brands' skin care favorites, which are also used to prep models backstage before runway shows.
The collaboration also unites the brands' most-popular products, the Adria bag for Johnson and Sisley Paris' Black Rose Cream Mask. "I use it a few times weekly. The scent is heaven, and it leaves my skin feeling glowy and healthy," Johnson boasts. While d'Ornano expresses equal praise for the bag. "It is the perfect mix of originality and ease of use, both feminine and practical at the same time. You can wear it as a clutch in the evening or with the strap during the day."
The limited-edition collection will be available to shop at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman on June 17.
