ULHASNAGAR: The Maharashtra Human Rights Commission has issued summons to the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC) regarding the sale of 12 unused new printers as scrap.
The commission has called upon the UMC commissioner to conduct an investigation into the case and has set a deadline for the UMC Commissioner to respond by November 10th.
Back in 2008, the civic body had procured various electronic items, including computers and printers for different departments.
