- Marta Kostyuk continued to fly the flag for Ukraine at Wimbledon as she won her first ever match on Centre Court to move into the Wimbledon semi-finals.
- Kostyuk was taking on former Wimbledon finalist Jasmine Paolini for a place in the last four and she delivered a dominant performance to secure a 6-3, 6-2 victory.
- Kostyuk, 24, is having her best ever season after also reaching the French Open semi-finals last month, and she will hope to go even further at SW19.
- She will face Czech Republic’s Linda Noskova in their semi-final on Thursday after Noskova beat Elise Mertens in straight sets.
- Meanwhile, the other women’s semi-final will see America’s Coco Gauff face another Czech Republic star, Karolina Muchova.
