Ukraine is the frontrunner to win this year's Eurovision Song Contest, and fans tuning in for the final were bowled over after watching their act. The war-torn nation is favourite to win Eurovision 2022 along with the UK entry Sam Ryder with his belter of a song Space Man.
Viewers were charmed by the band Kalush Orchestra's rousing performance of Stefania, with many showing the love for the rapper who reminded them of the nineties funk band Jamiroquai fronted by Stretford-born singer Jay Kay.
The Virtual Insanity singer was known for his love of statement hats. And Kalush Orchestra added a pop of colour with a fluffy pink bucket hat. @itsnickcharles tweeted: "UKRAINE out here giving us culture with Jamiroquai #Eurovision."

The performance had fans demanding that they must win as fans flocked to Twitter. Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid declared: "#Winner #Eurovision." @TechnicallyRon said: "BONKERS well done Ukraine this is EXACTLY WHY WE ARE ALL HERE." And @Iain_McCallum exclaimed: "Ukraine! How fabulous! @bbceurovision MUST WIN!"

Poignantly the song is an ode to a mother, talking about how much their mother has aged and addresses the hardships of a mother with the realisation of how much they have done for them.
The lyrics include the line: “The field is blooming, but her hair is getting grey. Mother, sing me the lullaby, I want to hear your dear word."
