LONDON: According to the US military, a Russian fighter jet dumped fuel on an American MQ-9 Reaper drone flying over the Black Sea on Tuesday, causing it to crash after colliding with the aircraft.

The US European Command said that two Russian Su-27 fighters intercepted the drone over international waters, with one hitting its propeller. Prior to the collision, the Su-27s repeatedly flew in front of and dumped fuel on the MQ-9 in an unprofessional and reckless manner, according to the Command.
