Kyiv: Ukraine wants peace but will not just surrender to Russia at any price, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in a defiant speech on Monday to mark Independence Day, as foreign leaders pledged their support.
Flanked by British Prime Minister Andy Burnham and European Council President Antonio Costa, Zelenskiy praised the resilience of the Ukrainian people during more than four years of war with Russia.
