Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky used his daily address on Tuesday (March 29) to reveal further talks had been held with several other leaders - most notably Prime Minister Boris Johnson - regarding support for his nation and sanctions against Vladimir Putin's Russia.
Mr Zelensky has been quite vocal in his gratitude towards the UK and Mr Johnson in recent days, and Tuesday proved no different. Speaking on day 33 of the invasion of his country, he said: "I spoke with the leaders of the partner countries. It was a very active diplomatic day.
"Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Johnson, Prime Minister of Canada Trudeau, Chancellor of Germany Scholz, Prime Minister of Italy Draghi and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
