Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has tendered his resignation amidst an anticipated major cabinet reshuffle as Russia's ongoing invasion continues to wreak havoc. The recent wave of Russian missile strikes claimed the lives of at least seven individuals, including a child.

Kuleba's resignation adds to a series of high-profile departures from President Volodymyr Zelensky's administration as the conflict persists. The move comes ahead of Zelensky's upcoming visit to the United States later this month.

As Ukraine's top diplomat, Kuleba has played a significant role in representing the country internationally, garnering attention for his public engagements abroad.

Parliament to review Kuleba's resignation, major cabinet changes expected.

Ukraine's parliament is set to review Kuleba's resignation during an upcoming plenary session, according to speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk.

Major changes are expected in the cabinet this week, with over half of the Cabinet of Ministers' personnel slated for replacement, as announced by majority leader Davyd Arakhamia.

Notable resignations include the Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin, responsible for weapons production, along with the justice, environment, and reintegration ministers.

In response to the ongoing crisis, Zelensky emphasized the need for a robust government structure to achieve Ukraine's objectives, hinting at adjustments in both foreign and domestic policies.

The reshuffle coincides with continued Russian missile attacks on Ukrainian cities, with Lviv witnessing casualties and property damage in a recent strike. The city, located in western Ukraine, has been considered a relatively safe haven for residents fleeing conflict zones in the east.

Recent assaults, including a deadly strike on a military educational facility in central Ukraine, have resulted in numerous casualties and injuries, underscoring the relentless violence inflicted by Russian forces.

Zelensky has called for increased international support for Ukraine's air defense capabilities to counter Russian aggression and prevent further civilian casualties.

The escalating conflict underscores the urgent need for diplomatic efforts to halt the violence and protect the lives of Ukrainian civilians caught in the crossfire.
