Ukraine is not the end of Vladimir Putin’s ambitions, former Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt has warned, in comments that will spark fears of a wider escalation in the conflict in Europe.
Peace talks between Russia and Ukraine were described as “more realistic” by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky offering a glimmer of hope that a negotiated ceasefire could be achieved in the coming days.
