At least five killed and ten others, including a child, were injured after a gunman opened fire inside a supermarket in the Holosiivskyi district of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv. The gunman was also killed during the efforts to arrest him, Ukraine's interior ministry said.
"The gunman was killed during his arrest in Kyiv," Ukrainian interior minister Ihor Klymenko said on social media, adding that the suspect "had taken people hostage and fired at police officers during the arrest."
