Ukraine crisis: Huge numbers of kind-hearted Dubliners pledge to take in refugees fleeing war

Over 2,000 kind-hearted Dubliners have pledged to open their homes to Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war.

The Irish Red Cross said they have been "blown away" by the generosity of the Irish public after a whopping €14 million was raised.

Additionally, the charity received nearly 12,000 pledges of accommodation with the top three counties being Dublin (2,149), Cork (1,327), and Galway (663).
