NEW DELHI: The third round of talks between Ukraine and Russia ended without much progress on Monday even as the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine is getting worse with each passing day. Russian forces have intensified their shelling and food, water, heat and medicine grew increasingly scarce. Ukraine has accused Russia of adopting a "medieval-style" siege to batter it into submission.
Meanwhile, raising concern about the worsening situation in Ukraine, India on Monday stated that humanitarian action should not be politicised amid the Ukraine-Russia conflict which has led to a pressing humanitarian crisis that needs to be addressed expeditiously.
