The UK has been experiencing the most turbulent weather over the last couple of weeks. Just last weekend we had the most beautiful sunshine with clear blue skies and temperatures soaring to 19C, making us all feel excited for the summer months ahead.
But it looks as though that glorious sun couldn't stay for long, as the weather has already taken a turn for the worst this week as parts of the UK, including Greater Manchester, have witnessed snow with temperatures as low as -1C in some parts of the region.
Earlier today (April 2) the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning with snow and hail showers expected in the east of the UK along the coast, which could lead icy surfaces with possible travel disruption.

Across the rest of the weekend, the Met Office says there is going to be cloudy skies with some wintry weather in the west and persistent rain from midday tomorrow in the far north. Elsewhere in the UK you can expect 'sunny spells and scattered showers' with less wind than we have had recently.
Tonight the showers are expected to die out from everywhere but the far north west. This will leave largely clear skies and a 'cold and frosty night' with some shallow fog that may appear by the morning.
Greater Manchester looks to be in for a dull week with grey skies and showers expected from Monday through to Friday, with temperatures ranging from 9C to a high of 11C.
On Monday the Met Office forecasts heavy rain, with lighter rain on Tuesday. On Wednesday we are likely to get a glimpse of sunshine with sunny intervals and temperatures expected to be around 10C, but heavy rain is still expected.
Thursday and Friday look to be somewhat drier with cloudy skies throughout the day on Thursday with sunny intervals expected from late Friday morning.
