UK weather warning: First snow as temperatures plunge amid torrential rain

United Kingdom

Snow is predicted to fall in some parts of the UK this week as Brits across the country see a plunge in temperatures and a goodbye to summer sunshine.

Snow is predicted to fall further north into parts of Scotland after the first snow of the season saw a dusting settle on the High Cairngorms mountain on Friday.

More snow is expected in the next 10 days with up to two inches set to fall in the mountains.
