UK weather: More snow, ice and rain forecast after schools shut

Large parts of the UK are bracing for more snow, ice and rain after schools were shut and travel disrupted amid weather warnings.

Dozens of schools were closed on Thursday in northern England and North Wales with travel disruption throughout the day as amber weather warnings were issued.
