Snow is set to fall across Leeds towards the end of this week as the Met Office has put a number of weather warnings in place across the country.
While a yellow warning for snow and ice is in place today for parts of North and East Yorkshire, a yellow warning for snow will cover all of Yorkshire, including Leeds this Thursday and Friday. This means the county is set for disruption.
The Met Office have warned that snow "could develop quite widely" on Thursday and Friday. They said: " Parts of Northern Ireland, north Wales and northern England are currently expected to see the worst of the conditions on Thursday, with parts of Scotland and northern England then seeing the heaviest snow on Friday."

Now, weather forecaster WXCharts has shown exactly where and when the snow is expected to fall. Snow will first hit the city at midday on Thursday, with around one centimetre expected.
This will continue into the afternoon and at around 3pm Leeds will see between one and two centimetres of snow. Into the evening, this will increase to two centimetres.
This is then expected to continue on to Friday although most of the snow will move North during the day. As a result, Friday will see less snow than Thursday, but Leeds and areas on North Yorkshire will still experience flurries.
On Friday afternoon, the majority of the snow will fall in Northern parts of Yorkshire as well as coastal areas like Whitby and Redcar. Leeds will see around a centimetre of snow while snowfall should cease in most of South Yorkshire.
In the afternoon, this will then fade and there will be no more snow by the evening. There may be some further snow in Leeds and Huddersfield, but this will be less than a centimetre.
There may then be further snow over the weekend, but no Met Office warning is yet in place.
