Brit sunseekers may be able to enjoy temperatures touching 30C this weekend as the mercury rises notably over the coming days.
It has been a chilly start to the week in many areas of the UK, especially in the mornings, and below average for the time of the year, due to a low pressure system.
But gradually it will warm up this week as a high pressure front takes control and it should get hot, especially for the south of the country with the possibility of it reaching 30C.
