UK weather forecast: Storm Claudio to drench Brits with 50mm of rain and 70mph gales

Brits are in for a wet and windy week as Storm Claudio batters the coasts with 70mph winds.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind for the South until 8am on Tuesday for London, South East England and South West England.

A yellow weather warning for rain is also in place until 8am on Tuesday for the same region as well as Wales, East Midlands, East of England, North East England, North West England, South West England, West Midlands and Yorkshire and Humber.
